As the temperatures rise, save on utility bills by making your business more energy efficient.
Now is an exciting time in New York State to take a fresh look at energy. Community Capital New York is partnering with the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) and Cornell Cooperative Extension Dutchess to help small-businesses and non-profits in the region to make informed energy decisions that help them meet their bottom line.
NYSERDA has selected Cornell Cooperative Extension to be Community Energy Advisors – to help residents, small businesses, and non-profits navigate a network of clean energy and energy efficiency programs, financial incentives, and professional partnerships. They provide end-to-end service including:
- Enabling informed energy decisions
- Informing utility customers of financing options for energy efficiency and renewable energy projects and products, including those available through Community Capital New York
- Guidance through the process of implementing a clean energy project
- Connecting customers with energy contractors who can implement clean energy projects
