Welcoming Kelly Almanzar, Our New Chief Lending Officer
April 7, 2023Community Capital New York is pleased to announce the recent appointment of Kelly Almanzar as Chief Lending Officer.
Kelly has worked at national banks, community-based lenders, and nonprofit institutions as Director of Lending, National Product Manager, Residential Lending Manager, and in other key roles over a career spanning two decades. Most recently, Kelly served as Vice President of Lending at Progress Funding. There he managed loan origination, underwriting, processing, and quality control, recruited and led staff, handled client service, and oversaw regulatory compliance and reporting.
Throughout his career in mortgage and business lending, Kelly has sought to meet the needs of first-time homebuyers and low-to-moderate income borrowers, and he brings that same focus to his work at Community Capital New York. As Chief Lending Officer, Kelly will lead our lending team in securing financing for developers of high-quality affordable housing in the Hudson Valley and providing small business loans and technical assistance to members of underserved communities to help them start, build, and sustain successful businesses and create jobs.
