“My parents came from very modest backgrounds to become solidly middle-class owners of a nice home and a prosperous small business.  As I was growing up I remember them commenting so many times about what a huge difference it would have made to them in life and for their prosperity,  if they could just have gotten their hands on $10,000 when they were first starting out.  I feel great coming to work everyday knowing  that Community Capital New York is here to make sure that other hardworking individuals get the leg up my folks never had.”
