Fernando Ahumada is responsible for Business Development and Lending across all of Community Capital’s product offerings. His service territory includes Dutchess, Putnam and Ulster counties. Fernando is an experienced professional in finance, community outreach, and health care management with expertise in communications and business development.
Prior to joining Community Capital, Fernando worked for the Middletown Community Health Center (MCHC) where he was a Board Member for 3 years and later hired as a Patient Service Supervisor. Due to his success he later became a Business Development Manager for MCHC focusing on new community outreach initiatives.
Fernando holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Studies from Southwestern University, Georgetown TX, and an MBA from Mount Saint Mary College, Newburgh NY. In addition, he is also a member of the 2016 Class of Leadership Orange, a local organization that educates current and emerging leaders to foster involvement in our community and be catalysts for positive change. Fernando is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.
