Community Capital New York Welcomes Robert Benitez as New President & Chief Executive Officer
January 13, 2025Community Capital New York (CCNY) is proud to announce the appointment of Robert Benitez as its new President and CEO, effective January 27, 2025. Robert will succeed Ian Benjamin, who has been serving as Interim President and CEO. Robert brings a wealth of expertise in banking and community development finance, most recently as Senior Vice President, National Director of Lending at TruFund Financial Services.

Robert has an extensive background in banking and financial services. During his four years at TruFund Financial Services, he was instrumental in driving significant growth. He oversaw the expansion of the loan portfolio, introduced new loan products, and extended lending services into new markets.

As President and CEO, Robert will lead CCNY’s expansion and growth efforts, and drive financial empowerment in underserved communities. CCNY is excited to embark on this new chapter under Robert’s leadership.
